Nurse Practitioner – Employee Health/Occupational Medicine

We are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner of the Employee Health/Occupational Medicine Department, which takes great pride in caring for the needs of our employees who provide the quality care to our patients. This is a full-time position that provides medical services for employees of the medical center and its affiliates only (no ‘outside’ clients). These services encompass post-offer, pre-employment physical assessments, evaluation and treatment of occupational injuries and illnesses, return-to-work clearances for non-industrial leaves, consultation and education related to treatment and prevention of injuries in the work place. The clinic provides services during the day, Monday – Friday. This position is supported on a periodic basis by the RN Coordinator and Regional MA positions.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Valid California RN license and NP certification (FNP/ OH NP)
California Furnishing number
DEA number
NPI number
BLS certification
Experience in EH/OM setting with excellent skills in medical evaluation and treatment
Exceptional interpersonal skills and communication skills
Basic clerical and computer skills are required
